The FH-1 was the first US Navy carrier-based jet and first flew in 1945 but in common with many early jet fighters suffered from limited range and poor performance. Consequently only 60 were built and they remained in service for only three years.

To maximise value, this title contains the Flight Manual for the FH-1 Phantom and two flight manuals for the Phantom’s later bigger brother, the F2H Banshee. The files have been scanned from the original manuals and retain any colour pages.
