Title: Reggiane Re2001 Falco II

The Reggiane Re2001 was the second of a family of fighter aircraft produced by the Italian company Regianne at the start of WW2. The first, the Re2000 was not as successful as hoped for primarily due to an underpowered engine and vulnerable integral fuel tank design. The Re2001 aimed to correct these faults, firstly by using the newly licence-produced DB601 engine, and using a more conventional fuel system with separate fuel tanks.

The type first flew in June 1940 but when production stopped in 1943 after the Italian Armistice only 237 had been built, mainly due to the complexity and therefore higher costs of construction. While praised for its handling the type suffered poor servicability and only 33 were still operational in 1943, with the type being retired in 1945.

This title contains the Maintenance Manual and the Parts Catalog for the Reggiane Re2001, along with the Aircraft Profile for the type. The files have been copied from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages unless otherwise stated.
