AVRO 694 LINCOLN

$9.95

Title: Avro 694 Lincoln

The Avro Lincoln was developed from the Lancaster, with an enlarged fuselage and wings, two-stage supercharged Merlin engines, and increased fuel capacity and bomb load. The type was initially called the Lancaster IV and V, but subsequently renamed the Lincoln I and II.

The first example flew in 1944 and the type entered operational service in August 1945, just too late to see active service in WW2. A total of 604 were produced, including one assembled in Canada and 73 assembled in Australia.

This title contains two editions of the RAF Pilot’s Notes for the Lincoln, plus the RAAF Pilot’s Notes and a detailed descriptive manual for the Lincoln Mk 30. The files have been scanned from the original manuals and retain any colour pages.
