Title: Avro 706 Ashton

The Avro Ashton was a series of experimental aircraft never intended for commercial operation. Six were built, converted from unused airframes from the earlier Tudor piston engine powered aircraft.

To maximise value, this title contains the Flight Manual for all the marks of the Avro Ashton, and two Flight Manuals for the earlier Avro Tudor. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.

This title contains:

  • Manufacturer’s Pilot Notes for the Avro Ashton Mk’s I to IV, undated with approx. 176 pages.
  • Manufacturer’s Pilot’s Notes and Operating Instructions for the Avro Tudor Freighter (covers the Mk1, Mk3 and Mk4B variants), dated June 1950 with approx. 113 pages.
  • Pilot’s Notes for the Tudor IV, produced by British South American Airways, undated with approx. 50 pages.
