Title: Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight

The CH-46 is a medium-lift twin rotor turboshaft powered transport helicopter first flown in 1958 as the Model 107. Intended as a replacement for earlier piston engine helicopters such as the CH-21 Flying Banana. the aircraft enjoyed success in both the civil and military fields.

The aircraft was flown by the US Navy, who retired it in 2004, and the US Marines, who retired it in 2015. It was also used by the military arms of Canada, Japan and Sweden.

The civil variant was used as a passenger aircraft by several airlines in the 1960’s, but generally found its niche as an aerial lifting helicopter. A specialist lifting company, Columbia Helicopters, bought the civil type certificate from Boeing in 2006 with the aim of eventually producing new aircraft themselves.

This title contains two US Navy flight manuals for the CH-46 series of military helicopters.
