CONVAIR B-36 PEACEMAKER

$9.95

Titles: Convair B-36 Peacemaker No’s 1 and 2

The Convair B-36 was the largest and most complex piston-engined bomber produced for the USAF but was rapidly overtaken by more advanced jet powered aircraft. Designed during WW2 and first flown in 1946, it entered operational service in 1949, and was a film star in “Strategic Air Command” with James Stewart. However it was rapidly overtaken by developments in jet powered aircraft, and even though the last example was manufactured in 1954, they were retired from service five years later in 1959.

We offer two titles on this extremely large bomber which include flight manuals for several variants of the Convair B-36 series along with an interesting reconnaissance observers manual. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages. Each title is US$9.95.
