Title:  Curtiss SBC-4

The Curtiss SBC series was a two-seat scout aircraft and dive-bomber and was the last military biplane procured by the US Navy. Originally designed as a fighter and designated XF12C-1, it first flew in 1933 but the definitive SBC series did not fly until 1937 and entered service as the SBC-3 in 1938. This was followed by the most numerous model, the SBC-4 with 174 built, in 1939.

By the start of WW2 the aircraft was already obsolete and was largely kept away from combat zones. Examples were ordered by both the French air arm and the RAF but neither saw active service.

To maximise value, this title contains manuals on the SBC-4 plus another US Naval attack/torpedo aircraft, the Vought SBU-2. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
