Titles: McDonnell-Douglas AV-8 Harrier No 1 and 2

Based around the unique Rolls-Royce Pegasus vectored-thrust turbofan engine the Harrier was the first practical VTOL jet attack aircraft. An operational version entered service with the RAF in 1969. Six of the earlier development aircraft were sent to the USA for further evaluation, as the XV-6.

The US Marines recognised it’s unique capabilities and the first AV-8A version entered service with the Marines in 1975. The later AV-8B version was developed jointly with McDonnell-Douglas and British Aerospace Systems with a larger wing and a night operational capability.

We offer two titles for the AV-8. This first includes the flight manuals for the AV-8A and the equivalent British Harrier GR 1, and the second title includes the flight manuals for the later AV-8B model. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages. Each title is US$9.95.
