McDONNELL-DOUGLAS F-4 PHANTOM II

$9.95

Titles: McDonnell-Douglas F-4 Phantom II No’s 1 to 5

The F-4 first flew in 1958 and had a remarkable production run of over 11 years totalling over 5,000 examples. In addition to being the most numerous Western jet fighter the aircraft has been exported to many countries and developed into many variants. Originally developed for the US Navy the USAF was quick to recognise its potential and ended up the major customer. Although retired from active service with US services in 1996 it remains a front line fighter with several countries as at 2016.

The F-4 is a large aircraft capable of mach 2.2 and carrying 18,000 lbs of weapons on external hardpoints. Like most contemporary fighters it was not equipped with an internal cannon, but following experience in Vietnam one was installed in the new E model.

We offer five titles for various marks of the F-4 Phantom II.  Each title is US$9.95. Each title contains flight manuals applicable to a particular air arm. Each file has been scanned from the original flight manuals and retains any colour pages, unless otherwise stated.
