The NP-1 was was produced by the Spartan Aircraft Co based on their 1927 civil aircraft against a US Navy requirement for a two-seat primary training biplane. Approx 200 were produced, the only military aircraft produced by Spartan.

To maximise value, this title includes two flight manuals for the Spartan NP-1 plus a flight manual for another US Navy primary trainer, the Timm N2T-1. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
