Title : NAVAL-TB1

The Vought SB2U-3 was designed to a 1934 US Navy specification, (part of which still called for a biplane). Approx 170 examples of three variants were built for US Navy service, and another 74 for export to France and England. Largely obsolete at the start of WW2 the aircraft was withdrawn to training units by 1943.

To maximise value, this title contains flight manuals on three naval attack/torpedo bombers, the SB2U-3 plus the SBC-4 and the SBU-2.

The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.

Title 1 contains:

  • US Navy Pilot’s Handbook for the SBC-4, dated 1-3-39, revised to 15-12-39, approx 44 pages.
  • US Navy Pilot’s Handbook for the SBU-2, Report No 4076 dated 26-4-37, approx 31 pages.
  • US Navy Pilot’s Handbook for the SB2U-3, Report No 4967 dated 3-1-41, approx 31 pages.
