Title: Short Scion and Scion Senior

The Short Scion was a British twin engined monoplane designed for carrying 5 to 6 passengers and first flew in 1933. 22 examples were built between 1933 and 1937 and they gave good service in many varied parts of the world. Several were impressed by the RAF during WW2. At least three still survive, one recently the subject of a complete restoration by the Medway Aircraft Preservation Society.

The Short Scion Senior was a developed version of the Scion with four engines and able to carry 9 passengers. Unfortunately it was overshadowed in the market by the DH89 Dragon Rapide and only found a specialised niche as a floatplane. Only 6 examples were built and none survive.

This title contains good quality digital scans of the manufacturer’s Instruction Manuals for the Short Scion and the Short Scion Senior. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
