Title: Agusta 101G

The Agusta 101G was a large three-engined transport helicopter developed in Italy by Augusta in the 1960’s. A single example was built and first flown in October 1964. The prototype used Rolls-Royce Gnome engines, and a second version was projected using GE T58 engines which promised better performance.

The Italian government decided to order SH-3 Sea King helicopters instead and with no other prospective orders the program was abandoned in 1971. The single example is preserved at the Agusta Museum at Cascina Costa..

We don’t know if a flight manual was produced. There would have been some temporary document giving limitations etc, but unfortunately after extensive enquiries we have been unable to locate a copy. This title contains a nice publicity brochure for the 101G along with a detailed technical specification document. The files have been scanned from the original documents and retain any colour pages.
