Title: Avro Canada CF-100
The first aircraft to be completely designed and built in Canada, the CF-100 first flew in 1950. The first two prototypes utilised RR Avon jet engines, but production aircraft used the Canadian Orenda engine.

Approx 692 examples were produced of five major variants. 53 aircraft were exported to the Belgian Air Force and the rest were retained by the RCAF. Due to its robust airframe the last examples were not retired from RCAF service until 1981.

We offer two titles containing the flight manuals for all the main variants of the CF-100 series.  The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.

Title One contains:

  • Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Pilot Operating Instructions for the Canuck (CF-100) Mk 2T and 3T, EO 05-25C-1 dated 1-10-52, with approx. 80 pages.
  • Royal Canadian Air Force Aircraft Operating Instructions for the CF-100 Mk 4, EO 05-25E-1 dated 15-2-60, revised to 21-6-63, with approx.
  • 152 pages.

Title Two contains:

  • Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Aircraft Operating Instructions for the Canuck (CF-100) Mk 5, EO 05-25F-1 dated 1-3-60, revised to 18-9-64, with approx. 113 pages.
  • Royal Canadian Air Force Aircraft Operating Instructions for the Canuck (CF-100) Mk 5D, EO 05-25FD-1 dated 20-4-64, revised to 10-3-65, with approx. 105 pages. (The Mk 5D was the Mk 5 variant converted to the ECM role.)
