The Bristol Beaufort was a twin engine torpedo bomber which first flew in 1938 and was in active service between 1939 and 1942, after which it was relegated to a training role.

Around 1,120 were produced by several British manufacturers, and an additional 700 were built in Australia. These played a significant role in the Pacific war and remained in active service until 1945.
