Title: Heinkel He177

The Heinkel He177 was the only true strategic bomber used by Germany during WW2. Although it first flew in 1939 it did not enter service until 1942 and was too late to play a major role in the war. It was faster than equivalent Allied bombers but produced in much smaller numbers, only just over 1100 being built.

Although visually a twin with only two propellers, it was a four-engined aircraft with each powerplant comprising two Daimler-Benz DB606 engines coupled through a combining gearbox. This arrangement had several problems, the most serious of which was a tendency to catch fire in flight.

This title includes the pilots manual for the He177A-3 variant, and three volumes of the descriptive/maintenance manual for the He177A-0 variant. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
