Title: Macchi MB.339

The MB339 was developed from the earlier MB326 to meet an Italian Air Force requirement for a replacement jet trainer for, ironically, the MB326. Macchi determined the MB339 would meet the Italian AF requirements and be much cheaper than a clean-sheet design. The prototype first flew in 1979 and around 230 have been built.

About half have gone to the Italian AF with the rest to other export customers, including Argentina, Eritrea, and New Zealand. During the late 1980’s the company developed the MB339C variant which introduced a modernised EFIS cockpit.

This title contains two flight manuals for the Macchi MB-339 series along with a nice manufacturer’s brochure. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
