McDONNELL F-101 VOODOO

$9.95

Title: McDonnell F-101 Voodoo No’s 1 and 2

The F-101 was derived from the XF-88 experimental escort fighter which was not produced in series due to poor performance. An improved version of the XF-88 was ordered into production at the start of the Korean War due to a shortage of suitable aircraft to escort bombing aircraft and engage the MIG-15’s of North Korea. However it was quickly realised that long-range escort was not the F-101’s forte and it was diverted to USAF Tactical Command. Tactical fighter and reconnaissance versions were produced, and the aircraft also saw service in Taiwan and Canada.

We offer two titles for the F-101 Voodoo. The first title contains the flight manuals for two variants of the Voodoo, and the second title contains the Canadian flight manual and the USAF flight manual for the final variants of the Voodoo. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
