Title: Potez 54

The Potez 54 was a largely private venture designed against a government specification for a new reconnaissance bomber and first flew in 1933. During development the original twin fins were replaced by a single fin and rudder and the aircraft became known as the Potez 540. First used in the Spanish Civil War it proved to be a poor design easily outclassed by its German and Italian contemporaries.

Over 200 were built but it was obsolete very quickly and relegated to training and transport duties, usually in the French colonies, but most had been retired by 1943.

This title contains the French military instruction manual for operation and performance of the Potez 542, a version powered by Lorraine 12H V12 engines, plus two manufacturer’s brochures covering the Potez 54. The files have been scanned from the original manuals and retain any colour pages.
