SUKHOI RRJ95 SUPERJET

Title: Sukhoi Superjet

The Superjet was the first all-new civil airliner developed in the post-USSR Russia, and development started in 2000. The SaM146 engines used are a joint venture between the Russian NPO Saturn company and Snecma of France, and much of the aircraft’s equipment and avionics is supplied by Western manufacturers. The aircraft first flew in 2008, and type certification was completed in 2011 in Russia, and in 2012 by EASA.

Initially Boeing took an advisory role in the project, then Alenia (later Leonardo) became a risk-sharing partner. Over 170 had been built by 2019 and examples were operating in Europe and Mexico. However there were problems with servicability and sales of the aircraft were slow. Leonardo pulled out in 2017. The project is now completely Russian and there are plans to update the aircraft and expand the range. The aircraft is marketed as the Superjet SS100 although the official certificated model is the RRJ95.

This title contains the manufacturer’s flight crew operating manual for the RRJ95 Superjet along with a manufacturer’s publicity brochure, all in English. The files have been scanned from the original documents and retain any colour pages unless otherwise stated.
