Title: Timm N2T-1 Tutor

The Timm N2T-1 used a unique method of aircraft construction using moulded plywood. The military took an interest due to the possibility of aluminium shortages. In the event these didn’t eventuate but 260 examples of the N2T-1 were produced and used as a primary trainer until 1944.

To maximise value, this title includes the flight manual for the Timm N2T-1 plus two flight manuals for another US Navy primary trainer, the Spartan NP-1. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.

This title contains:

  • US Navy Pilot’s Handbook for the N2T-1, Navaer 01-205QA-1X dated 15-8-43, with approx 47 pages.
  • US Navy Pilot’s Handbook for the NP-1, Report No SA-2007 dated 17-1-41, with approx 25 pages.
  • “Meet the NP-1” US Navy training booklet. 60 pages of instruction intended to follow a training film.
