De HAVILLAND DH103 HORNET / SEA HORNET

$9.95

Titles: De Havilland DH103 Hornet / Sea Hornet; Titles 1 to 4

The De Havilland Hornet was the ultimate British piston-engine fighter and first flew in 1944, but did not enter service until after WW2 had ended. Designed as a long range fighter it used the same construction techniques as the earlier Mosquito but was smaller and optimised to reduce drag.

Around 383 were built between 1945 and 1950, split fairly evenly between RAF versions and carrier-based naval versions for the Royal Navy. The aircraft had a relatively short operational life and had largely been retired by 1956.

We offer four titles including flight and maintenance manuals covering most variants of the Hornet and Sea Hornet aircraft. Each title is US$9.95. The files have been scanned from the original manuals and retain any colour pages.
